a) f(x) = 3/(x^2 - 4)

• Domain : 3/(x+2)(x-2)

                Therefore, x=-2 and x=2

                       {XɛR, x ≠-2 , x ≠ 2}

• Range :  y>0 or y< -0.75
• Asymptotes: 

                 Vertical asymptote : x→ - 2ˉ, y → ∞

                                                                x→  -2  , y→-∞
                                                x→  2ˉ , y → -∞

                                                                x→  2  , y →∞
                                    Therefore, x= -2 and x = 2.

                 Horizontal asymptote : x→ - ∞ , y → 0

                                                                     x→  ∞  , y→0
                           Therefore, y = 0.
