a) f(x) = ax+b/cx+d

• x-intercept : ax+ b = 0

                               ax = -b

                                 x = -b/a

• y-intercept : b/d
• Restriction : cx+d ≠ 0

                                          x ≠ -d/c

• Domain :  {xɛR, x ≠ -d/c }
• Range : {yɛR, y ≠ a/c}
• Vertical asymptote : cx+d = 0

                                                             x = -d/c

• Horizontal asymptote : [a+ (b/x)] / [c + (d/x) ] = 0

                                                                                                        = a/c

 ∴ (b/x) and ( d/x ) is equal to zero. This is because the x is the bigger number.
