Chapter 3.3: Rational Functions of the Form f(x) = ax+b/cx+d
a) f(x) = ax+b/cx+d
x = -d/c
a) f(x) = ax+b/cx+d
- x-intercept : ax+ b = 0
x = -b/a
- y-intercept : b/d
- Restriction : cx+d ≠ 0
- Horizontal asymptote : [a+ (b/x)] / [c + (d/x) ] = 0
∴ (b/x) and ( d/x ) is equal to zero. This is because the x is the bigger number.
- There are a few video that regarding on this chapter.
